Eternal Life

What do we believers look forward to the most? Two words: Eternal Life. We look forward to going home and being with our beloved God and Savior Jesus Christ and all of our family of believers who we all love so much, especially our God. That's the whole reason Jesus came to Earth. To offer us the gift of Eternal Life in Heaven instead of the Eternal Death in Hell that we deserve, which we really do. But Jesus came to offer us an alternative choice. Which is Heaven through Him. He wants us to be with Him for eternity, but we must choose whether or not to accept this free gift of eternal life that Jesus is offering to go to Heaven or completely reject it and throw it in the garbage. It's our choice. WE must make that choice. Thank the Lord Jesus that He came to save us and offer us Heaven even though we do not deserve it. "And this is the promise that He promised us, even eternal life." 1 John 2:25 Amen.

God's creation

When I look all around what do I see? I see everything organized in precise manner. Beautifully decorated flowers that grow from the plant, or the color that the leaves have in the trees during the fall. All around you see beauty, organization, design and order. God is the Master Artist that created all of this including our magnificently designed universe. Everything is not out of place, nor unorganized. It is all placed in exact order, because our Creator wanted it like that. When I look at the stars at night or the universe through the Hubble space telescope, I wonder to myself "Wow! I can't believe God made all of that! More that a quintiillion stars in the universe and God knows all of their names!" When I look at the universe I worship God. His imagination and beauty is literally like no other, because their is no other except Him. "I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me." Isaiah 46:9 Praise God and wonder at His marvelous creation! Amen.

He's #1

Who is #1? People stuck up with so much pride would say it's themselves. But our sinful human society has been feeding lies to us saying we are the best and we don't need anything else. But that's not the TRUTH. The TRUTH is bringing glory and serving our Creator and making Him widely know throughout the world. He's #1, not us. We are the creation and He is the Creator. God is #1 above all else, why? Because He is God our Savior who died for us and He is the reason we and everything else exists. But many people fail to realize that it is God and think everything came here by "accident" or by random chance. They think science explains everything, when it doesn't. Although it does have it's rights and wrongs. But when it comes with the origin of the universe, it's erroneous. The bible clearly says in Genesis that God created everything, including animals, plants, and especially man. "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Genesis 1:1. So consider that true fact and know that He is the #1 person we should give all honor and glory to. Give Him all that He deserves because He is really worth it, trust me. I have experienced His work in my life. Amen.

Facing the ultimate glory

What will it be like to stand in front of God and to finally see His awesome glory and power? I can only imagine and think about what it will be like. But my capacity to imagine what it will be like to stand and see Jesus Christ in all His splendor and majesty is tiny to what will actually see. How awesomely amazing will that be?! To see God will be infinetly better than anything else on Earth or the entire universe!!! God alone is the reason we exist and we and everything else exists is for His glory. To meet our awesome Creator face to face will be the moment of actual unbelievable reality. God's face is brighter than the sun or all the stars in the universe combined!!! But it will not blind us. It will be a soothing light that will be pleasing to our eyes. I can't wait until that day comes. That day I will be waiting and expecting the awesome figure that died for us and rose again in glory and is now seated on His throne. Praise to our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ! "When I saw Him, I fell at His feet as though dead. Then He placed His right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades." Revelation 1: 17-18 Amen.

A day of Kindness

I am going to share a story that not only changed my life but it has overwhelmed me with so much love for God. Here goes: One day after my stepbrother's baseball game we decided to drive to the nearest taco bell near Hopkins Jr. High. We came in and we all noticed a few girls cleaning something that looked like their drink that dropped on the floor.  My family members ignored them completely because they had nothing to do with it, but I went up to them and said "do you need any help?" One of the girls turned to me and said "no thank you." But I decided to take action. I grabbed one of the towels they weren't using and started cleaning up the floor for them. They were very happy and were saying "thank you!" while smiling. Then when I was about to leave one of the girls came up to me and said "do you want a cookie?" I gladly took one in gratitude and said "thank you and have a great day!" in excited emotion. I said bye to them and they responded back and as I left the facility I had a very happy feeling for what I did right that day. And it was all thanks from above. "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." Matthew 25:40 Amen.

Christ with little children

Do you know how special you are to Jesus? Jesus loves you soo much He came and died for you. I know I have repeated that over and over again and the bible does also, but it's the foundation of our faith in Christ. And what amazes me is that when Jesus was walking around, little children wanted to be with Him. And when His disciples tried to shoo them away this is what Jesus said "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14 He loves to be around children, but more importantly with you. He is our loving Father who delights in all His children that He created, Amen.

Surrender

Surrendering is a word that is mostly misunderstood in the bible by believers and unbelievers alike. To surrender means to give up, to yield, to say to yourself I lose and he/she wins. But surrendering to God is a completely different story. Surrendering to God means giving everything to Him, yielding all your belongings, work, school, friends, family and anything else. But why do we do this? So then God works and we don't worry. Everything is in His hands. When we can't fix a certain situation the best way to deal with it is to surrender it completely to God and let Him take care of it. Or when a relationship is torn apart, give the relationship to God and let Him handle it. Surrendering to God is not easy, but when it happens we experience a peace and joy that we could never have known felt. We feel so much more secure because we are giving everything to a God who loves us and wants a deep personal relationship with each of us. Give it all to God, He loves you more than you can imagine. "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-His good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:2 Amen.

Depend on Him

Depend on God to supply your needs. He will give you whatever you ask, as long as it is in His Sovereign Will. God will always take care of you. He is the loving shepard who takes care of His weak sheep. Whether they are sad, mad, happy, or glad. He is always there to provide. You don't need to worry about anything. For God is with you and He will hold you up always. If you are weak, ask God for strength. If you are poor, ask God to provide you with money or a job to earn money. God is good all the time and you can always depend on Him. Amen.

The Cross of Salvation

The Cross of Salvation is what we believers put our hope in. But the hope was not the Cross, but who was on the Cross. That person set us free from something that was stuck on to us like glue, something we could never get rid of. Sin was our enemy and still is because we still do it, but because of Jesus our sins our gone and thrown away. We have complete forgiveness in Jesus Christ. And we are no longer condemned. "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Romans 8:1 The blood of Jesus cleans our sin and makes it as white as snow. Isaiah 1:18 We followers of Christ should never forget what Jesus did that day. Something He wanted to do for us. Without Jesus, we would be doomed. He came down from Heaven to save us because He loves us. That's an amazing gift we should take as granted. We don't deserve it, but because of God's great love and mercy, we are saved. Amen.

Live for Him

I live for God because I gave my life to Him and He deserves all the glory since He created me in His Image. I live to give Him praise, glory and honor and to suffer in His name since He underwent the same things. I want to live my life for Him and please Him no matter what I'm going through. I give my all to God. "For me to live is Christ and to die is gain." Philippians 1:21. I want to sacrifice so much for God that I would do practically anything to remain in a relationship with Him. Because I love Him and He loves me. "We love because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19 Life is all about pleasing God. No one else but Him. That's the Truth and the Reality. So all believers who want to follow Christ, give it your all. Surrender every single thing you got in your life, give it all to Him because He cares. "The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him." Nahum 1:7 Praise the Lord and live for Him, amen.

Share with no fear

Have no fear. When we believers share Jesus with people, we shouldn't be afraid because He is with  us. Every time we share Jesus we gain power from His Holy Spirit that we didn't even know was possible. And we have strength and courage that we never knew we could have. The Holy Spirit gives us wisdom and words only if we ask it to. It help us do what is right because it is our advisor that God gave to us to assist us in situations. The missionaries that are sent out to other countries, God commands them to do their job, and we should be willing to do the same thing. It takes guts for them to share Christ with people who reject it, don't know about it, and are believers in another religion. But remember we Christians don't have a religion, we have a personal relationship with Jesus (aka God). Were sent out to help lost people (don't know Jesus) to explain to them what sin is and how it separates us from God. And we bring them into a relationship with Jesus. So fellow believers, don't be discouraged, just remember God is on your side and will always help you when you ask Him. I will pray for courage, wisdom, and strength for all of you. God wants us to do our job, so let's get to it. All praise and Glory goes to God for letting us share and bring more people into a direct personal relationship with Him. Amen.

The Cross of Salvation

What is the Cross? And what does it mean? The Cross represents our Salvation and our only hope of escape from eternal damnation in Hell. Everyone who is reading this may be offended because you think I am forcing you to believe in what I believe. THAT IS NOT TRUE. I am ONLY sharing. Sure you can believe in whatever you want, but it only matters what's true and what is not. Please examine what you believe before putting your complete trust and faith in it. Because what if you are wrong? And you die and end up a place with screaming, heat you cannot stand, and darkness that is so dark it's worse than pitch black. You literally can not see anything at all. And you have to experience that FOREVER. I am telling you this because I care and don't want you to go there after your die. Please don't take this as offensive. I respect everyone's belief's, but your future and where you will spend eternity will matter even more. Jesus has come from Heaven to die for you and everyone else who has ever lived. He wants you to come to Him and take your sin away. He wants you to come and live with Him for eternity. He loves you so much that He gave His life for you. "Just as the Son Of Man came did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many." Matthew 20:28 God wants to save us from eternal torment and wants us to submit to Him. He loves us way beyond anything and infinetly so much. Amen.

I belong to Him

I belong to Him. No one can take away my relationship with my Savior. He adopted me into His spiritual family so I can be with him spiritually/physically with Him in Heaven which is the New Earth that God will create in the future. Since I belong to God He lovingly provides things for His good pleasure only according His Will. Belonging to God and having a personal relationship with Him is literally the greatest thing we can receive. He wants to change our lives and make them better, not worse. Those who put their trust in God and receive Him as their Savior will be granted this awesome privilege. How awesome is that! Amen for that.

Destination Heaven

Are you scared? Scared about the feeling of dying or where you are going? It may be both or one of them, but one thing for sure is that your going to die and you can't change that because it's the reality. And what comes after is also reality too. So to make sure you know where you are going you need to first take a solid look at what you believe in. Do you have any good evidence about your belief? Can you prove it? Their may be certain things about your belief that are true, but not EVERYTHING is true. As in really true. Like the Hindus believe that they are reincarnated into an animal based on good or bad karma they had in this life which will effect what animal they will become in the next life. But do they have evidence for that? Does every Hindu that dies reincarnated? Or any other follower in a religion? Can they really know for sure? Well for Christians it's basically the same thing with our belief of the afterlife but what separates us from all other beliefs is that we actually DO HAVE EVIDENCE for what we believe in. For example when I was researching about the bible and all the biblical places I was studying and making sure that these events and battles really did happen. And what I found online was quite surprising. That these things that biblical archeologists discovered were the places, people and things described in the bible. And that they really did happen. So if a Christian (like myself) were to believe that evidence, then I can believe that Jesus really did live back then and that He said what He meant. And that was to offer everyone eternal life through Him by His death on the Cross. And that He resurrected from the dead to prove He conquered death once and for all. "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13 Amen.

Shine all the way

Make Jesus shine all the way through this world while we are still living. He is the way so let's make Him stay and shine brightly throughout this sin filled world that is dirty with things God hates since they are sin. God is asking that we make Him known throughout this lost world where most people have no idea who He is and why He came to die on the Cross for us. The light of the Gospel must be distributed for the entire world to hear. Because Jesus has said "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." Matthew 24:14 Jesus is saying that we must proclaim Him to the entire world so then they can know how to come to Jesus. That is why He must be known to the Earth.

Shine Jesus Shine because we are your design. Amen.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's day everyone! This is a day where we celebrate what our mom's have done for us, including giving birth to us which is painful. So let's give them thanks for that also! What has your mom done for you? Whether physical or spiritual. Please comment below. My mom has done a lot of things for me physically, but the spiritual stuff is what's more important. What my mom has done is bringing me into a relationship with Jesus Christ, the most beautiful person in the universe, which I will never forget. So let's thank our mom's today and what they have done for us physically or spiritually. God Bless!

Faithful

I stay faithful to God all the time, every day. It's a goal I want to accomplish throughout life and being obedient to Him and His opinion about me is all that matters. Nothing else matters to me more than bringing as much people as I can to Heaven before it's too late and they end up in Hell. I rarely use the word Hell but I am saying it now to warn people that if they do not turn away from their present life which is full of sin and don't turn to Jesus, then they will end up in Hell FOREVER. God cares infinetly so much for just one soul and wants to bring them to Heaven with Him. But their are BILLIONS of souls around the world that God loves and does not want one to go to Hell, and neither do I. What would it take for me to bring one soul to Jesus Christ? It would mean everything. I want God to know that I and every other person who loves Him, that I am obedient to Him and His Word and what He is commanding us to do. That is why I am sharing Jesus with people at Irvington. That is the REAL reason I don't hang around with anyone at lunch. That is the reason I'm not busy academically. Well I am busy, but busy doing the work of God. That's what matters the most because it will last forever. "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:18 So in conclusion, sharing Jesus with people and what He has done for us on the Cross who don't know Him, is the most wonderful gift of all. Amen.

Lifestyle and Relationship with Jesus

Most people view religion as something secondary in their lives. It's a time where they worship go to a temple and offer prayers and pray to their God. And each religion has their own beliefs and values about their view of the afterlife, standards they go by, how they pray etc. But Christianity is very unique in a way because it's much more and shouldn't be referred to as a religion, but as a personal intimate relationship with God and a lifestyle in which you live out. So having Jesus in your life and worshiping Him is not considered as a religion as most people refer to it, but a way of connecting with Him and living out a brand new lifestyle and how He is the reason we exist along with everything else He created such as the universe and the Earth. He loves us and wants to have a personal relationship with each of us. "Because he loves me, says the Lord, I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation." We also live out a lifestyle because doing good and kind things for others is part of the Christian lifestyle. And so is worshiping which we do everyday and thank God for everything He provides for us. Thank the Lord that through the death of His Son, we can have eternal life and be granted this relationship with our Creator. Amen.

Only possible with God

Many things aren't possible with us. First of all when it comes to doing work, it's difficult for us to complete many different things at a time. Or when we need a miracle in doing something we know is physically, mentally, impossible beyond our reach we need someone or something more powerful that will conquer it. That's where God comes in. I have read TRUE stories about how God interacts in our lives and how he delivers amazing miracles or experiences that we think aren't possible in reality. One book I know that explains those stories is called When God Wink At You by SQuire Rushnell. All of them are TRUE stories and how God gives us God winks which Rushnell describes in the book and God uses "coincidences" to communicate with us. Some people believed in God and others didn't. Yet when I read stories about the people who wanted to prove God existed, God showed up and showed them that He DOES exist and is making His existence visible to us today. These people experienced the impossible turn into the possible. And just like Jesus said "With man it is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26. Amen.

Holding on

Hold on to God. For He is always here with us. Every day it seems as though we can't hold on any longer, but God extends His hand to rescue us from whatever we are trapped in. But it says in God's Word "He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me." 2 Samuel 22: 17-20 God will save us from whatever enemy we are facing, whether big or small. He will always be there for us. For those who put their trust in Him. Amen.

ARK (Act of Random Kindness)

One Act of Random Kindness is all it takes to brighten up someone's day. To make them feel happy and appreciated. To do something warm and friendly that touches a person heart whether or not they appreciate it. Doing kind acts is at the very heart of the Christian lifestyle. Their are opportunities everywhere to do random acts of kindness! It can be where you help a handicapped person off the bus, or help a person carry their groceries to the car. Wherever you are, whenever you can do a simple act of random kindness to change a person's life. No matter how tiny it is. The bible tells us as believers we should continually do kind things for people and especially for people who belong to the family of Christ "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially those who belong to the family of believers." Galatians 6:9-10 I have two examples of random acts of kindness I would love to share. As I was walking one day by myself like the usual, I noticed a teacher that I met named Mrs. Scolnik and she was carrying boxes so I came up to her and asked her if she needed help. And we just walked and talked while we went back in forth transferring boxes to the next room. My next story is really short but simple. I have a pretty, wonderful friend and sister in Christ named Rachel who I decided to make a card for her. I do not know why I made a kind card especially for her, but I did. So I gave it to her and she wrote her own card in return and gave it to me. And that card was so special to me I decided to tape it inside of my bible and treasure it forever. So a simple act of random kindness can brighten up a person's day. And just like the bible says "You reap what you sow." Amen.

What's after death?

Death is a topic that is normally avoided because of it's view of graphic content, religious content and so on. But so many of us have no idea what's on the other side. Many of us base it off our own beliefs and view. Some of us hope it is something good or the possibility of it being our own belief. But the question is, can we really know for sure? Yes we can, and that answer comes straight from the bible. If you haven't read my blog yet which is called "Thy Word is Truth" I encourage you to read it so you can know what truth is. But in this blog I will be explaining what is on the other side. The bible says that when we die we will enter one of two destinations Heaven or Hell. And how we end up in either one of those places is based on a standard, God's standard that is. The bible says that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23. We don't deserve Heaven we all deserve Hell. God is graciously giving us Heaven based on His Love and Mercy and sacrifice of His own Son Jesus, (which is also God since He is part of the Holy Trinity but I will be explaining that later on). We have fallen short of His holy standards and the punishment for that is eternal separation from God forever in Hell. God has made a way out of that place through the sacrifice of His Son. His Blood literally takes away all of our sin. "The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" John 1:29 You have a choice. You can choose whether to accept Jesus as your Savior right now at home or wherever you are. Or you can reject His and ignore it and end up in burning fire forever. You must make that choice. And if you haven't accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior bow your head and say this prayer "Dear Lord Jesus. Forgive me for sinning against you. I am sorry. Please forgive all of my sins and take me away from the life I am now living. Your Blood takes away all of my sin and I now accept you as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus name I pray amen."  If you have just said that prayer and meant it, congratulations! And welcome to the family of God! Praise God for His never ending Love and Mercy and for giving us free will for choosing Him. Amen.

Where will you spend eternity?

Now if you think about it most of us don't want to think about death. We think it's something that is just part of life, that's no big deal. Yes that's true in a sense, but in an eternal sense you will be dead far longer than you will ever be alive. Have you ever thought about that? When I think about that it astounds me. Death is a topic most of us don't want to talk about, yet it will happen to each and everyone of us and their is nothing we can do to stop it. Here's something to think about. When you want to reach a certain destination you don't just go on a road and drive forward hoping to get there. Then later on you realize you have been driving 3 hrs in the wrong direction? Why would you do that? The only logical option is that you plan out where you are going to go instead of realizing you were going the wrong way the whole time. It's the same thing with eternity. We plan out where we are going after death instead of dying and awaiting what is out there. Waiting for what is out there after we die is not a very smart idea. Once you know what is out there without a certain requirement, their is no turning back. Jesus came to offer us eternal life into Heaven and we can only accept it as a free gift. "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 Heaven is described in the bible as a beautiful paradise that is beyond human imagination where the people who have believed and trusted Jesus Christ as their savior will be. Hell is a place of graphic torment that is worse beyond imagination where the people who have rejected Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will be there. And keep in mind that you will be in one of these two destinations forever.....and ever...and ever....and ever...with no end. So choose wisely you only have so much time. Your life is very short compared with eternity. "Show me, O Lord, my life's end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting is my life. You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Each man's life is but a breath." Psalm 39:4-5 Amen.

I raise my hands up and worship

When I am at Church, I worship God. When I am at school, I worship God. When I am at home, I worship God. I worship God at anytime and anywhere. When it comes down to worship I love to raise my hands up in the air and exalt my God of Salvation. When I am at home I do that most often. When I am at Church I do that less often because I'm afraid that I'll draw attention. But I must remember when I worship that it's all about God and not about me. I just want to go to the top of a hill or mountain shout and raise my hands up in the air and exalt the Lord God Almighty who gave His life for me just so I could live with Him forever. I praise, I worship, I exalt. God calls us to live a life of worship in everything we do. "Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name; worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness." Psalm 29:2 Amen.

Thy Word is Truth

The Word is what sets us free. It tells us right from wrong, truth from false, and good from bad. We need it in order to know why we are here, and how. For us Christians we know the Word is important because we have trusted it and believed it. But is the bible really true? Can we really trust it? The answer to that question that has been going on for years is, yes. People have wondered for countless years, is the bible really true? Did things happen back then like they said they would. Let's look at that. First of all the bible is not just a book written by people, it was written by God through man which makes the book divine. Over 3,000 times in the bible it says phrases like "And the Lord God Almighty says" or "Says the the Lord God Almighty. This clearly means that the book is divine and has no claim of human authorship. If that's not enough to convince people, then let's look at the archeological side. Their have been over 25,000 archeological finds on places, people, and their titles and not one of them contradicted anything found in the bible. (You can look that up on YouTube).  That proves that the Word of God (aka the bible) is completely trustworthy. And also the bible has proven itself prophetical. Their are more than 2,000 detailed prophecies in the Old Testament and factually 25% of the bible is predictive in nature. And all of the prophecies leading up to the return of Jesus Christ to Earth have been fulfilled to the smallest detail. Amazing!!! The bible also historically talks about how the king of Assyria brought people from Babylon, Cuthah, Hamath and Sepharvaim and settled all of of them in the towns of Samaria to substitute the Israelites. 2 Kings 17:24 And incredibly the bible can also be proven scientifically! About 2,500 years ago, science said that there were 1,100 stars in the sky. And the prophet Jeremiah said "the host of Heaven cannot be measured, neither the sand of the sea measured." He said that they were uncountable. And when we see pictures taken by the Hubble space telescope we know the stars are uncountable! Wow! Science confirms many things that the bible says, but as you can see according to the divinity, archeologically, historically, prophetically, and scientifically parts of the bible, this proves the book absolutely trustworthy. Praise God for His wonderful Word! Amen.
