The Holy Trinity

Muslims only believe in one God alone, but they don't believe that He exists in three persons. They believe in Allah and his prophet Muhammad. But the truth is, there is only one God and that is the God of the bible. Jesus Christ is God and always has been because He is the Word. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1 The bible tells us that God exists in three persons for all of eternity. For example when God created the Heaven and the earth, He said "Let us" in Genesis 1:26. God the Father is God, God the Son Jesus Christ is God, and God the Holy Spirit that dwells in each and every born-again believer, is God as well. All three persons are one. Here is the clearest verse in all of scripture about the trinity. "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." 1 John 5:7-8 The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one. All three are God. Jesus Christ proved He is God almighty by doing miracles and rising from the dead! He is divine and has the same attributes just like God the Father because He has been with the Father for all of eternity. The Father loves the Son and the Son loves the Father. We as believers believe in one God and that is Jesus Christ who has the glory of the Father within Him. And the Holy Spirit is the helper that our Lord Jesus has given to us.
